Teen Friendly Decor – Interior Design for the Teenager

Starting in all aspects of life young people to express themselves and assert their identity. Therefore, if the music you play, when they were 10 years old, popular, they are very quick to send the box with "un-cool." The same holds true of household decor or interior design.

Fortunately, it is relatively easy to work with your child to give them much of what they want without too much financial sacrifice of others.

In most homes we are talking aboutYouth (s) bedroom though if you space in the playroom or a teenager or in the attic over the garage is a cool idea.

A few design tips:

Rooms must reflect the growing demand for independence, while still a safe havenâ playroom or a great place to be got friends, assured that they are safe and not hanging out in an unknown dip "will". Watch out, though, as the fridge for food and drink roundup! Room, the teenagers grew up in a suddenfeel too childish, whereupon a sudden longing is for a revamping or remodelthe open door policy to the bedroom of the child also means a greater requirements specify privacy. But if you do not provide everything they need in the bedroom or your child, you can never again! If you (and it is trying very hard) to resist the demand for televisions and computers in the bedroom. If your children were 10 years ago, it may be too late to get out of this situation.

Color & Style

This is easy totreat and also you can seem to be a pretty cool parents. Work with your child to select the color scheme, even if you think you would never, ever, use black, purple or psychedelic patterns on the wall or ceiling.

For the practical application of standard emulsion paint, too easy to retouch or change as tastes change. Walls and ceilings will be covered shortly in the posters and so on, but as long as the wall construction is sound you do not need to order tape or Blu-tack care(Fun-Tak) on the walls. Image Nails and tacks are not the end of the world – but a few adults to impose regulations on safety in relation to the electrical wiring and plumbing sectors.

When graffiti painting is a design idea, why not a wall in special black-board (chalk board) paint?

Storage and Furniture

You'll probably want with what you already work in the interest of the economy. But remember a growing teen will be a bigger stronger bed, which always raises the possibly necessaryembarrassing question of whether there should be a double bed. Even larger and calls for more clothes closet.

What ever you do, make sure there is plenty of storage space and hooks on the back door. It will not prevent the sedimentary accumulation of clothing and debris on the ground, but at least there will be no lack-of-space excuse.

Function

If you own function, DO SO! If you can play from the study then disconnect the visibility (if not control) havethe time of your child's management. In an ideal environment split sleep, study and play if possible. You can say that it is not enough space, but you could cheaply install a desk, a light and a computer under a staircase.

You might be able to clear all that junk is usually dwells in a garage, old paint cans, golf clubs and so on often mean there is no room for the car. With a little thought one corner of the garage could be turned to a teen. Put some on the end of the roll carpeta second-hand club sofa and a chair, a bookcase, some Anglepoise lamps or reflectors, and an MP3 docking station, plus HI-Fi amplifier. A blanket or throw and an electric fan heaters work well for colder nights.
Your teen can chill out here with friends and have their own private space. And it is not so important whether it is clean and tidy in adult eyes.

Conclusion

Finally, interior design, with a youthful spirit in an area where you do not need to have the feeling that youto a concession or sacrifice to a rebellious or angst-ridden offspring. In fact, you can not have the appreciation you deserve for your efforts until your teen is ready to leave home for college or the big bad world. The litmus test is to see then whether they want to come back to stay in the room that she grew up in Europe (and eat a good old-fashioned home cooking!).
